Just because you are expecting your first or even second child, this by no means should mean you neglect your fashion sense completely!

Being a pregnant mum means investing in a few new clothing options and none of these have to include baggy tees and over sized jogging bottoms!

You can still keep your style, you just have to know how to do it!

Many high street brands and designer labels stock assortments of attire to suit the expectant mum. Most of this attire will however be right on trend for the current season.

Clothes from maternity sections boast to keep expecting mums stylish yet the attire still oozes comfort and breath-ability! If you wish to hide your bump, stay away from intricate and detailed patterns and instead opt for a bold block shade.

Accessorise a simple black outfit with hats, scarves and jewellery. Whatever you do, stay comfortable! If you wear something too tight and in an ill fitting material, you will not only feel uncomfortable, you will also look it!

Many of the fashion available today, such as skinny jeans and short dresses are probably the last thing on a pregnant mother’s list. However these items can work for expecting mums. Most of the jeans and dresses available come in a stretch-style fit.

Skinny jeans appear to look the same, they do however offer a more comfortable fit. This could include an expandable waistline or looser ankles.

Many of the dresses and tops available will work to accentuate your assets and hide your bump, this will in turn allow you to glow in the styles you love!

Looser styles don’t always look better, you make think they hide your bump and you may be right. They do also make the rest of you appear larger. This is certainly a look most don’t wish to achieve. This is why it is always wise to wear style that accentuate your good parts and make your bump appear less obvious. The end results allow pregnant mums to look as stylish as they always do!

As the big freeze finally arrives today’s fashion is big on warmth without losing it’s cool. As everyone knows your head needs to be covered to stop those winter chills. The Aviator Hat by Celtic Sheepskin in brown leather with real sheepskin lining does the job.

Next a quality jacket is needed, go no further than a John Partridge quilted jacket in Teflon coated nylon that is trimmed with a moleskin collar, your man can be comfortable while still looking stylish.

Cardigans are so in this year, and there is a bewildering choice, but Original Penguin by Richard Chai has produced a limited edition dark grey shawl collar plaid cardi. With its large pockets and chunky buttons its very 60′s.
Paul Smith at Jules B goes for the multi check shirt, which will look good with Eden Park Desert denim trousers at Geoffrey Gillow Darlington.

Winter fashions are a great look for any guy and thankfully both designer and high street stores are stocking a variety of looks this season. This certainly makes it a little easier to dress our guys! As long as you choose the right fit, you will have your man looking stylishly warm in no time! Bring on the chill!

We mightn’t get snow this year but there’s always plenty of rain and as wellingtons are a fashion statement this year. For the ultimate style, wellington warmers are needed, try Fleece Wellington socks by Barbour. For the more energetic man the Belstaff gilet allows easy movement especially for bikers, its down filled so is very warm yet still super stylish. Ensuring your mans hands will be kept warm this winter is a simple task as there are some amazing gloves made with a conductive material in the index finger and thumb from Isotoner SmaTouch at www.firebox.com.

Every expectant mother tends to grow in size around the midriff, which in turn means a lot of our beloved clothes no longer fit anymore!

Thus shouldn’t however mean reaching for the baggiest items in our wardrobe, just because you are expecting, this by no means should mean losing that pre-baby style!

Many expecting mums will actually be glowing with health and happiness, so why not take advantage of your glowing face and really work that style!

There are arrays of high-street boutiques and designer stores that stock stylish pregnancy wear! The clobber has been designed with only the expectant mum in mind and comes in the shape of stylish on-trend pieces that will flaunt that bump, rather than hide it!

Clothes chosen should make you feel both confident and comfortable, if you are able to achieve both of the above, you will be well on your way to being the most stylish mum out there!

Opt for things you would normally wear but in a slightly different cut, such as the baby doll look for example! Such a style emphasises your upper half and flows softly over your lower half, meaning the attention will be drawn to your assets as appose to your growing bump!

Choose things that offer comfortable and cooling fabrics, stay well away from the likes of Lycra and anything too clingy!

Stand up tall, wear what you wish to wear and flaunt that bump! Being stylish is all about confidence, and if you have that, you will look glowing and effortlessly stylish!

Just because you are an expecting mum, this by no means should mean revamping your wardrobe in a non-glam way! Flaunt your bump and take that wardrobe up a notch or two!

There are of course things you should stay away from, such as super involved patterns, tight lycra material and anything that is too short and too low. In fact you should probably avoid the last one whether you are pregnant or not!

Expecting a baby is a great thing and there are an array of designers and boutiques that cater for the post pregnancy figure. In fact it is more than likely that your favourite high street shop or designer store have all the styles you love in a shape that allows for a little more leeway.

Clever tailoring can create a more svelte figure, even if you are carrying a little more weight than usual. Black is always a good colour to invest in; it doesn’t however have to be the only colour you wear. Add other block colours in order to create something that scream ‘wow’ yet doesn’t go over board.

Baby doll dresses are also a great option for any up and coming Christmas parties, not only will you feel super glam, you will also be relaxed in what you are wearing. Such a dress tends to flaunt your good bits and hide the bits you don’t want on show!

Team with a killer pair of heels and an uber glam clutch. Cinch the outfit together with a cutesy belt.

Add a few statement pieces to your outfit in order to give it that little extra something. Using jewellery, belts, cutesy jackets and statement shoes can create this. Remember to jazz your make-up up as well; this will certainly have all the boys staring!

Beyoncé, mum to be, was recently seen out and about sporting some very chic maternity attire. The mummy to be was snapped sporting a stunning deep, rich emerald maxi dress that showed off her bump perfectly.

This is the perfect relaxing attire and looks good both day and night. Wear with flats and simple locks on a day and team with gold jewels and your hair piled up high on an evening out.

The maxi, whether you opt for a maxi skirt or dress is a great piece for holidays. It is easy to roll up in your suitcase and will expand as your bump does, if purchased in a stretchy or free flowing fabric.

Other must-have investment pieces for yummy mummies include the likes of jeans with elastic waistbands, baby doll dresses and tees and loosely styled trousers. All can still look stylish and smart, yet all will also allow you to breathe.

Fabric is an important factor. Choose light and breathable fabrics as appose to heavy, itchy or tight materials. These will only make you appear to look larger and will also make you look and feel uncomfortable.

Pregnant woman often feel bloated, hot and uncomfortable. Adding uncomfortable clothes to the mix will only emphasis this un-comfort.

If you look uncomfortable, you will feel less confident. Being pregnant often means you are glowing with health and happiness, don’t let anything get in the way, especially not clothes.

Don’t hide your bump! Baggy clothes will only make you look bigger than you in fact are! Don’t be afraid to stick to your usually style, just tailor it in a way that will suit your pregnant body!

Being pregnant is a great excuse to dress down! Think luxe looks as appose to baggy clothes that do nothing for your figure!

For example a great off-duty look is a grey cashmere jumper, leggings and flip-flops! This is a great get-up for a ladies lunch or a trip to the shops.

At the beginning of your pregnancy loose attire is a great option, as you don’t look too pregnant, maybe just slightly bigger.

However once you start to show, tighter options are better as baggy attire will just make you appear bigger than you actually are. It is however a challenge to find things that compliment both you and your bump at the same time.

Check out the range of attire in the pregnancy section of your favourite store. You will most likely be surprised at how much they have on offer! You will also be pleasantly surprised at how many stores in fact have a pregnancy section! This is great news for those that wish to invest in all the latest clobber yet still need clothes that offer lots more room.

There are of course wide ranges of stores that stock the likes of baby doll cuts, which work to both compliment you and fit your new bump!

Look to those that work their pregnancy in an elegant manner for a little style inspiration and then shop for that style!

Being pregnant should be flaunted and not hidden, so go get that new wardrobe today! If you are still a little unsure on what to buy, invest in the help of a personal stylist.

Add a touch of sparkle to your bump with a sheik wrap dress with jewelled embellished fastening, this is just one of the many ways to dress up your pregnancy figure!

Just because you may be expecting, this by no means should mean hiding away under layer upon layer of baggy clothes. The end result will in fact only make you look bigger than you actually are.

Instead why not embrace your bump, show it off to everyone like the proud expectant mother you are!

There are an assortment of ways to look and feel good yet still appear stylish. The key is to find something that your feel super confident in. Look for fabrics that are both very comfortable but also very stylish.

Look for attire that puts a huge emphasis on the quality of the fabrics, this way you will assure that the clothes you wear are as comfortable as they are beautiful.

Choose outfits that will compliment your new figure but also opt for items that offer the likes of a wrap around fastenings. This way they will change in size as you do! It will also mean you will get your money’s worth as you will be able to wear it again and again, even after the birth of your new born baby.

This season is very much about the floaty fabrics, which is great news for those that are expecting. Not only will they be able to breathe easily, they will also look extremely elegant at the same time!

Is it all work and no play for the likes of superhuman Elle Macpherson, bikini teeny Heidi Klum and bounce-back Miss Beckham?

It seems like these three leading ladies bounce back to their pre-baby figures in less than no time! So what are their secrets and how do they lose the baby fat so fast?

Well we did a little research of our own and found out it is in fact sheer hard work that gets these stars back into perfect shape! There isn’t a miracle formula that has been bottled, it is instead all about eating healthily and training hard!

Of course the stars have a little extra help and usually have A-list trainers on speed dial! This will certainly give them the motivation in order to get them back into tiptop condition.

There are ways that we too can gain our beach-beautiful bodies, without the expense of a massive personal trainer’s fee.

Look at the classes on offer at your local gym, these are often a lot more fun that performing your own workout in the gym. Dance classes allow you to work out without really feeling like you are putting that much effort into doing so.

Jumping and dancing around with a few friends to an assortment of music will not only burn many calories, it will feel like you have performed an hours workout within a matter of minutes!

Swimming classes are also great for those who are already pregnant as it is a gentle form of exercise that won’t cause any stress to either the baby or the mother in question!

Style also comes with confidence and dressing with your figure in mind is a must if you want to both feel and look good!

You may not be armed with an army of stylists like many of the celebs, that by no means means you can’t use them as inspiration!

Looking through celeb columns, pictures and news from major events and online will allow you with access into a world of celeb style!

Try and work with your individual figure! Wearing an outfit that looks amazing on someone with a very small shape could do no favors for someone with curved!

There are so many stylish celebrities in our faces on a daily basis and as well as admiring their shoes, bags and attire, many of us also envy their perfect figures. How do they do it? Many of the A-list seem to bounce back to their pre-baby figures in a matter of weeks. The supermodels are often seen stomping the catwalks and working a bikini whilst us mere human beings are still working the comfies.

However we have to remember that these celebrities have the help of pro trainers, dieticians and stylists. Even if their figures are not quite back to being uber svelte, their style is! Knowing how to dress plays a very important part in promoting our figures and making the best of what we have!

Just remember not to take it too far, if you throw your all into looking great you may lose track of actually having fun whilst you are at it! A happy medium is the key, eat healthy, act healthy and treat yourself at the same time!
